Starting at $21.25/hour Job Overview We are looking for career-oriented individuals seeking long-term employment for a 3rd Shift Shipping and Receiving position in Mascoutah, IL. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for candidates who are interested in building a long-term career.

Please note:

This is not an immediate-hire position . Candidates must be willing to complete a background check and drug screen as part of the hiring process. Once hired permanently, employees will join the union and receive the benefits associated with the position. Job Responsibilities Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments. Perform shipping and receiving duties accurately and efficiently. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Pick, stage, and move materials throughout the facility. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments. Verify materials and shipments for accuracy. Assist with packaging and production of aluminum cable trays as needed. Inspect equipment and follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work with team members to maintain an efficient workflow. Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned. Requirements Previous forklift experience is preferred. Candidates without forklift experience must be willing to train and operate a forklift. Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to work 3rd shift. Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screen. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are required. Must be interested in long-term, career-oriented employment.
