Job Description

Radiac Abrasives, Inc., a leading manufacturer of conventional bonded and super abrasives is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Oswego team. For more than 100 years, Radiac has delivered industry leading technology and quality products and service to the metal finishing industry. Radiac is a TYROLIT Company that is owned by the Swarovski Group which is headquartered in Schwaz, Austria. Job Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring that products are received, stored and shipped according to company policies. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Duties:
Accept and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies Verify items against purchase orders and invoices Record received goods into inventory systems Label and store items in appropriate locations Prepare and package items for shipment Generate shipping labels and documentation Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight companies) Ensure all orders are shipped on time and accurately Maintain accurate inventory records Perform regular stock counts (cycle counts) Report on shortages, overages, or damaged goods Use warehouse management systems (I-5 and SAP) and basic computer software Maintain logs, reports, and shipping/receiving orders File paperwork and track shipments Maintain department 5S and Safety, Quality, Deliver, and Cost Create customer delivery notes for shipments Process documents for shipping/invoicing/producing bill of lading Unload material deliveries safely and efficiently Other duties assigned by
Supervisor or Lead Skills:
Attention to detail Basic math and record-keeping skills Organization and time management Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift a plus). Basic computer skills, including experience with data entry and inventory management systems Good command of English, including reading, writing and verbal communication
Experience and Education:
Previous warehouse or logistics experience; experience in a machining environment a plus High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of SAP preferred
Physical Job Requirements:
