Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Associate to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, inspection, and proper documentation of incoming shipments to ensure seamless inventory flow. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining accurate stock levels. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient warehouse distribution processes while supporting overall supply chain effectiveness.
Schedule:
5am-finish can be 8 or 10 hr shifts depends on workload day Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments accurately and efficiently, verifying contents against purchase orders and shipping documents Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods safely Inspect received items for damages or discrepancies and document findings using inventory management software Prepare items for storage by stocking shelves or designated areas following proper packaging and labeling procedures Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to coordinate order fulfillment and ensure timely processing of goods Maintain accurate records of all receiving activities, including data entry into inventory management software Support trade compliance by adhering to international trade regulations during import processes Assist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counting activities to uphold inventory accuracy Ensure safety protocols are followed during all warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures Skills Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and warehouse distribution processes Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail in documentation and record keeping Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external vendors Ability to perform physical tasks associated with stocking, load & unload activities, and order fulfillment This position is an integral part of our supply chain operations.
