Receive orders against P.O.s, put stock away in warehouse or prepare for shipment to different company locations. Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices Maintains records of received goods Manage inventory of products stored in the warehouse; ensure inventory accuracy Work with carriers to ensure a timely and efficient Receiving schedule. Update computer system with receipt activity 100% inventory accuracy Excellent warehouse organization and housekeeping a must. Operate the time and attendance system. MUST be able to work overtime when needed. Using scanning equipment to enter information into our system. Must be willing to be cross trained in all areas of the plant to ensure total coverage in case of schedule changes.
Requirements:
Minimum of a high school education and two to three years of factory related experience in Receiving. Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math. May require some heavy lifting (up to 70lbs.) Able to work on computer to use Microsoft Office and ERP system Sit-down forklift experience Bilingual in Spanish a plus, not required.
