Full Job Description Job Summary:
Responsible for loading and unloading trucks, checking in deliveries, and moving materials within the plant.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks and check in deliveries; stock and locate materials, delivering them to various locations within the plant.
- Fastens plastic bands around stacks, bundles, or palatalized articles before storage or shipment, using a strapping tool and clamps.
- Properly package and identify materials to prevent damage and satisfy packaging standards.
- Prepare and load outbound shipments, assuring accuracy and the fulfillment of all stated shipping requirements.
- Follow work instructions, control plans as appropriate, and notify supervisor of any changes.
- Participate and fulfill appropriate responsibilities as defined in the ISO/QS Management System manuals.
- Participate in changes and continuous improvements.
- Product sequencing and product organization.
- Material handling - following and creating pick lists out of
BIS, EDI, ERP
inventory, and ordering systems.- Other duties as assigned - role is subject to cross-training with other functions in our operations.

- Reject materials that do not meet quality standards.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma / G.
Experience Required:
- Shipping and receiving/material handling experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Forklift experience.
- Willing to obtain Class C license required ( training available)
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Computer literacy required.
- Proficiency in basic math, APQP, and /or other appropriate skills.
- Be a self-starter; detail oriented; communicate well with others; work unsupervised.
