  • Wilmington, IL Under general supervision, performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, to receive, inspect, store and ship material, but not limited to receipt, control, preparation, material distribution, records, and reports.
Receives general direction on new assignment aspects and instructions as to how to perform required tasks and results expected. Duties require manual, clerical, and data entry skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Interface with carriers and customer service to address questions, concerns and needs 2. Act as back up for Outbound Transportation Clerk and UPS clerk as needed 3. Answer telephone calls in courteous and professional manner 4. Gather information and prepare truck load report daily 5. Assist with order processing 6. Prepare government orders, including printing the appropriate tire labels and appropriate government forms 7. Run the appropriate closing reports daily 8. Maintain inventory levels of all office supplies 9. Serves as a back-up for daily productivity reports 10.
