Job Description

The Pharmacy Shipping Associate is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned.
SHIFT:
8:30am-5:00pm Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions. Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner. Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs. Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order. Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws. Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures. Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site. Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station. The above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive. Qualifications
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
: High School diploma or equivalent One (1) year of logistics experience Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
: One (1) year of previous pharmacy experience with exposure to fulfillment of prescription orders
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
: Ability to lift 20lbs Ability to work in a standing environment Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously Ability to perform repetitious work accurately Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once. Ability to learn from a variety of techniques Ability to follow established process flows Ability to work effectively in highly stressful situations, exhibiting flexibility in changing situations Attention to detail Work independently with little supervision and meet daily expectations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Location of job activities 100% inside Noise and / or vibrations exposure Reaching (overhead), handling, and feeling Stand, bend, stoop and sit for prolonged periods of time Lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The expected base pay range for this position is $18 per hr. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule.
