PACKING & SHIPPING ASSOCIATE LOCATION

: Jeffersonville, IN 47130 | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$17.31/hour contractor pay Monday 8:00 AM-6:30 PM; Tuesday-Friday 10:00 AM-7:30 PM; every third Saturday 12:00 AM-8:30 PM with a rotational weekday off Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs

ROLE IMPACT

Support accurate and efficient prescription fulfillment in a fast-paced, semi-automated production environment. This role helps ensure prescriptions are packed, sorted, and shipped accurately to retail pharmacies and customers while following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

KEY DUTIES

Pack, sort, and ship prescriptions accurately and efficiently using established SOPs, supported hardware, and software. Read computer-generated screens and select the correct items for packing, sorting, and order fulfillment. Move completed orders through the fulfillment process while maintaining accuracy and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform housekeeping and other assigned duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent with basic math, reading, and writing skills. Reliable transportation and ability to consistently work the assigned schedule, including required rotational Saturdays and mandatory overtime when needed. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining strong attention to detail, quality, and productivity.

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Climate-controlled, fast-paced, semi-automated production environment. Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor. Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift. Uses computer-supported order fulfillment hardware and software.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Previous pharmacy experience is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and quality focus. Ability to stay on task and work well as part of a team.
