As part of JM Test Systems, we are part of a growing organization focused on delivering quality, accuracy, and exceptional customer service. We're looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Wichita team and play an important role in keeping equipment, materials, and customer shipments moving efficiently. About the Role The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, processing, packaging, shipment, delivery, and tracking of equipment, materials, and supplies. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that supports Shipping & Receiving, Rentals, Deliveries, Laboratory Inventory, and Facility operations. You'll work closely with technicians, customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams to make sure equipment is handled properly and gets where it needs to go—accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a hands-on environment. What You'll Do Receive, inspect, document, and distribute incoming equipment, materials, supplies, rental returns, and customer equipment. Prepare, package, label, palletize, and crate equipment and materials for shipment. Coordinate freight shipments, carrier pickups and deliveries, shipping quotes, purchase orders, and shipping documentation. Verify shipment contents, quantities, weights, and paperwork for accuracy. Process and tag returned equipment for repair, calibration, warranty, or factory return. Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, work order, and inventory records. Track laboratory equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and shipping materials and help resolve inventory discrepancies. Monitor shipments and assist with damaged, missing, or delayed equipment, including customer communication and claims when needed. Support domestic and international shipping requirements and applicable regulations. Prioritize rush orders, warranty equipment, new accounts, and other time-sensitive shipments. Operate a company vehicle for customer and supplier pickups and deliveries. Safely secure and transport equipment, parts, materials, and supplies. Support laboratory and rental operations by keeping equipment, tools, parts, and supplies organized and readily available. Assist with general facility needs, including sweeping, cleaning, operating a floor scrubber, and salting exterior entrances as needed. Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, carriers, technicians, and internal teams. Follow company safety, quality, and operational procedures. Help identify opportunities to improve shipping, receiving, inventory, and operational processes. Perform other duties as assigned.
