Shipping & Receiving Specialist Action Powersports - Florence, KY Full-Time Action Powersports is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our growing team in Florence, Kentucky. This position plays an important role in keeping our dealership organized and operating efficiently. The Shipping & Receiving Specialist will be responsible for receiving incoming parts, accessories, equipment, and powersports units, verifying shipments, maintaining an organized receiving area, and making sure products are routed to the correct department. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays organized, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming parts, accessories, merchandise, and equipment Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders Identify and document shortages, overages, or damaged merchandise Receive and process incoming motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports units Properly label, organize, and distribute incoming inventory Coordinate with the Parts, Sales, and Service departments on incoming shipments Prepare outgoing shipments, returns, and warranty items Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records Keep receiving, warehouse, and storage areas clean and organized Assist with inventory counts and inventory control Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as needed Assist with unloading trucks and freight deliveries Help move and organize powersports units throughout the dealership and warehouse Communicate shipping or inventory discrepancies to management Perform other dealership-related duties as needed Qualifications Dependable with a strong work ethic Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working with computers and inventory systems Ability to safely lift and move heavier parts, boxes, and equipment Valid driver's license Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a forklift Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, automotive, motorcycle, or powersports experience is preferred but not required What We're Looking For The right person for this position is someone who notices when something is out of place and takes the initiative to correct it. Accuracy and organization are extremely important. We need someone who can keep track of multiple deliveries, communicate with different departments, and help maintain an efficient flow of inventory through the dealership. Knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, or the powersports industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
