Job Description
SUMMARY:
The basic function of the Shipping - LTL personnel is to assemble daily Modular, Commercial, and portable orders for shipping. This position may also put finished goods and shipping supplies in the proper location.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble daily shipping orders which include Modular, Commercial, and Portable products.
- Match up pick tickets with orders before pulling merchandise.
- Fill out appropriate information on pick tickets.
- Verify quality and accuracy of orders (Items and counts).
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks as needed to load trucks.
- Move finished goods from staging area to finished goods rack.
- Process and stage products from distribution list for transfer truck.
- Load distribution trucks per distribution list.
- Assist in other areas of Shipping when needed.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
