Shipping and Receiving Associate Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. At Neogen, our work helps protect the world's food supply. Neogen is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to support our second-shift warehouse operations. In this role, you will receive incoming shipments, organize inventory, prepare customer orders, operate material-handling equipment, and help maintain a safe and efficient warehouse. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, verify, and process incoming shipments according to established procedures. Organize and store products to maintain accurate inventory and support efficient order fulfillment. Review, pick, scan, package, and prepare small-parcel and freight orders accurately and on time. Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely, completing required daily inspections. Assist with inventory counts and monitor stock levels, notifying the supervisor of shortages or concerns. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse while recommending improvements to shipping and receiving operations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous forklift operating experience required. Shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory-control experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding daily responsibilities and departmental improvements. Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Why Join Neogen?
