Overview The role of Driver / Shipping & Receiving Assistant is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of company equipment and materials via pickup and/or delivery, while also adding support to daily shipping and receiving operations. Essential Responsibilities Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly to make scheduled deliveries to customers and/or pickup orders from vendors Verify items received and/or delivered against packing slips or other shipping documents Load, secure, transport and unload materials, products, equipment and supplies Provide vendor-supplied packing slip to Shipping & Receiving Department Receive incoming shipments and inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage, and completeness. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and documentation Unload parts and transport to designated area Obtain signature on paperwork when making deliveries Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other material-handling equipment, as authorized Maintain cleanliness of truck, perform routine maintenance checks and report maintenance or safety issues promptly Work safely and comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures and DOT requirements. Operate in a fast paced, ever changing work environment Perform other duties as required by management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Must have the ability to work without supervision Must possess ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required by the position. Must possess effective organizational, interpersonal skills and good communication Must have strong attention to detail, self-motivation, good work ethic and ability to work well with others Must possess positive attitude Must possess ability to understand and follow safety procedures Willingness to work extended hours, when needed Qualification/Requirements Must possess a valid driver's license Must have clean driving record Must be drug free at all times Pay DOE.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
