Shipping and Receiving Specialist Job Description As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will work in either the shipping or receiving areas, packaging and processing electrical supplies. You will handle tasks ranging from labeling small boxes to managing large electrical spools for inventory or shipment. Your role will involve unloading trucks, entering product data into computer systems, setting up shipments, coordinating with vendors, and tracking inventory. Accuracy in verifying order items is crucial. Responsibilities Package and ship electrical supplies, including small boxes and large spools. Unload trucks and input product information into computer systems. Set up shipments and coordinate with vendors. Track and manage inventory using computer systems. Unpack and pack all orders, ensuring all items are correct. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rayville, LA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
