Operating out of our 300,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in North Billerica, MA, we provide large-scale, precision contract manufacturing for the aerospace, medical device, robotics, and defense industries. The Opportunity (Located in North Billerica, MA) The shipping department is responsible for the movement of material inside the facility as well as the coordination of material outside, whether it is incoming from a supplier or outgoing to a customer. It works very closely with the manufacturing departments to ensure that parts are available when needed at every stage of production. It is an integral part of Cambridge's fast paced, dynamic environment. Experience is preferred; but entry level positions are available. Ample on the job training is provided and advancement opportunities inside and outside of the department are ample.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Material handling

• moving parts throughout the facility using pallet jacks, fork trucks, etc. Shipping
• packing and organizing parts for shipments, loading trucks, completing required paperwork, ensuring proper documentation, etc. Receiving
• unloading trucks, verifying proper documentation, etc.

Inventory and reconciliation

REQUIREMENTS

Strong basic math competency (frequent multiplication and division) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. The ability to spend 8 hours on one's feet bending, lifting, and moving frequently Strong command of English, both written and verbal
