Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist I for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Franklin, MA. This is a hands-on warehouse position supporting work-order picking, kitting, shipping, inventory control, and general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and willing to cross-train across shipping, receiving, and material-handling functions. What You'll Do

• Review work orders and pick required materials, quantities, and parts from warehouse locations.
• Use barcode scanners, RF scanners, and inventory systems to retrieve, verify, and record materials.
• Kit, stage, and prepare materials for production or outgoing shipments.
• Pack outgoing orders according to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Verify order quantities, labels, condition, and shipping documentation before shipments leave the facility.
• Support parcel, LTL, and freight shipments, including staging orders for carrier pickup.
• Perform inventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems and report material discrepancies.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, stock replenishment, and return-to-stock activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment as trained.
• Work closely with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to meet daily deadlines.
• Cross-train in shipping, receiving, work-order picking, and kitting based on business needs. What We're Looking For
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, or inventory control preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners, barcode systems, inventory software, ERP, or WMS systems is a plus.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail when verifying part numbers, quantities, labels, and work orders.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment.
• Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, or other material-handling equipment is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and strong communication skills. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment and use required safety equipment, including safety shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection when needed. Why Apply
