What You'll Do The Shipping and Customer Service Associate will play a critical role in several aspects of our work. You'll work with the team in the shipping department to manage inventory and prepare and process orders for shipping with a high degree of accuracy. You'll also work with the VP of Business Operations and other members of the office team to support the needs of our customers and the business as they emerge and evolve. The responsibilities of the Shipping and Customer Service Associate will include: Shipping and Stock Room Operations Placing products in correct location in the stock room Monitoring stock room inventory and maintaining accurate product inventory counts Preparing products for delivery to vendors that provide special coatings for select products Supporting quality assurance initiatives Confirming order and shipping details with customers Packing and processing orders for shipping Communicating professionally with the other members of the shipping department, engineering, customer service, and manufacturing teams and working collaboratively to address any challenges that arise Helping to maintain a clean and ordered stockroom environment Operating stamping and laser marking machines and ensuring that products are marked correctly (no experience with these machines is necessary—training will be provided) Other duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager. Customer Service and General Office Work with the VP of Business Operations on a variety of customer service needs, including answering the phone, providing information on inventory and processing times, providing quotes for stock items, sending invoices, and processing payment. Assist with general office tasks, such as filing, completing paperwork, ordering and stocking supplies for the office and break room. Assist the General Manage and Director of Human Resources/IT with other duties as needed. Other duties as assigned. Experience in shipping, fulfillment, manufacturing, general office work, or some combination of these would be ideal. Compensation and Benefits The pay range for this role is $20 - $24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
