Receiving Associate -
First Shift Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:00
PM Pay:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to receive, inspect, document, and organize incoming shipments in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Unload deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Verify packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders. Inspect shipments for accuracy, quality, damage, shortages, lot numbers, expiration dates, and product specifications. Enter received materials into the warehouse management or ERP system. Label and tag incoming materials. Maintain accurate inventory records and file receiving paperwork. Move materials to designated storage locations, staging areas, or production lines. Follow FIFO and FEFO inventory procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing or moving throughout an 8-10-hour shift. Forklift certification or OSHA safety training is preferred. Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Fishbowl, or similar WMS/ERP systems is a plus.
