Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team as we open a second location in Pittsfield, MA. This role is essential for the startup of this new location and will begin with a training period at our corporate location in Chicopee MA. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and a strong grasp on safely operating forklifts, and other material handling vehicles. Responsibilities Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in documentation and packaging. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, stock movements, and order fulfillment. Operate forklifts and Combi trucks safely to move products within the warehouse. Operate company flatbed to transfer material from corporate location to Pittsfield location. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate and report discrepancies as needed. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in shipping and receiving/ or material handling roles within a warehouse setting is required. Proficient in operating forklifts and combi trucks required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
