Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is a hands-on position responsible for working on daily shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. The position ensures efficient material flow, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Load & Unload Trucks Put Away and Retrieve Stock Pick Orders and stage on Dock Operate Forklift and Hand Trucks Handle work orders Provide Customer Service at Service Desk Must be safety oriented Learn UPS Machine and handle orders, as necessary Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct cycle counts Work with Office and Sales Staff Additional General Shipping / Receiving duties, as necessary Physical Demands & Work Environment Frequent lifting of 50-60 lbs. Occasional heavier lifting using mechanical equipment or team lifting Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling Regular use of hands and arms to move and position materials Ability to operate material handling equipment Work in warehouse/manufacturing environment with varying conditions Required use of PPE including safety glasses and hearing protection Qualifications High school diploma or GED required CDL Class A or B license preferred but not required; for ability to support driver coverage 3+ years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, or inventory experience This is a great opportunity to start or grow your career with the backing of a union and the support of a team that wants you to succeed.
