Job Description
Robert Half is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations. This role is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, verifying order accuracy, maintaining shipping records, and helping ensure products are delivered on time and in good condition.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
Verify orders, shipping information, and documentation before dispatch.
Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to schedule pickups and ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain shipping logs, records, and tracking information.
Inspect packages for accuracy, proper labeling, and damage prior to shipment.
Operate shipping software, barcode scanners, and standard warehouse equipment as needed.
Assist with inventory movement and organization related to outgoing orders.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
