The Materials Processor position at Northrop Grumman in Sykesville, Maryland, involves performing various manual and clerical receiving duties, utilizing computer systems for receiving, tracking, reporting, storage and kitting. The role requires skills in SAP, Forklift and pallet jack, as well as maintaining inventory and preparing items for storage, including hazardous materials. Responsibilities- Performs a variety of manual and clerical shipping duties.
- Uses a computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
- Follows receiving practices and procedures and prepares materials for storage and kitting.
- Maintains an inventory of materials in the shop for use at all times.
- Performs a range of activities to prepare items for storage storage including routine packaging.
Spilt Shift Position:
Hours are 12-10pm Monday-Thursday Basic Qualifications for theMaterials Processor:
- High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in shipping/receiving, distribution, inventory management or warehouse operations.
