Responsibilities include:
Loading/unloading of trucks in a safe manner utilizing a forklift Prepare parts for shipment using FIFO and according to the individual customer packaging instructions. Transfer parts from warehouse to shipment staging. Ensure parts are scanned, wrapped and have master labels. Check dock codes as required per customer. Ensure proper dock lock procedures are followed. Label parts and shipments as directed by the shipping schedule. Repack, re label and re wrap as necessary Retrieve finished inventory that is put on hold. Re wrap and put away when released from hold. Arrange in orderly manner for Quality to sort. Keep all areas of warehouse and docks clean, organized, and clear of debris and resin. Monthly inventories as needed and verify numbers. Assist in training for new Shipping/Receiving Clerk and/or back up Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous forklift driving experience (minimum of 6 months) in a plant or warehouse environment. Able to multi-task. Good mathematical ability and computer skills. Ability to pass company provided forklift training.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to stand, walk or sit. Regularly required to use hands and lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasional bending, stooping, and crouching. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to focus.
Working Conditions:
The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employee may be required to work outside for short periods of time. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer Come join our team!
