Job Description

Responsible for picking and packing of customer orders, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Shipping Manager.
Description:
  • Accurately picks materials for customer orders and packs the materials for shipment
  • Ensures compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures
  • Completes hazardous materials (DOT/IATA) training
  • Processes/tracks customer orders in computer software, StarShip/Sage 100 (will train)
  • Schedule freight shipments, when necessary
  • Assists with investigation of customer complaints as related to shipping
  • Assist with daily inventory counts and production when needed
  • Assist with Investigation of customer complaints and any inventory discrepancies related to shipping
  • Performs inventory adjustments
  • Performs additional duties as required by Shipping Manager Other requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Simple math skills Forklift Certification or experience is a must Lifting up to 50 lbs daily Keeping work area clean and orderly HS or GED required Time management/performs well under pressure Accuracy and efficiency are imperative Multi-tasking is 80% of the position
