Plant Products is proud to be the partner of choice for growers throughout Canada and the USA. We're hiring a shipping and receiving associate for our Michigan team. You'll partner with our Canton team to receive, organize and store high-quality products, as well thoughtful- ly package and support sending them out to our customers. What you'll do Complete proper shipping docs, ie: Bill of Lading Compile and double check shipments Place incoming stock in designated storage areas daily General housekeeping Bring documentation from warehouse into office Main contact for compiling goods for walk-in customers Load/unload Plant Products trucks Receive incoming goods Property maintenance (keep Plant Products property clean and organized) Observe and promote compliance with all relevant policies and procedures Ensure that all goods leaving Plant Products have been properly billed Direct third-party truck traffic and keep all traffic lanes clear. Ensure that no visitors can freely walk around facility. Visiting drivers should be restricted to waiting area by door or be able to access their truck trailer as needed. Any additional duties which may be required on a day-to-day basis Work in accordance with company Mission Statement, Employee Handbook and Company Procedures Keep up to date with and conform to all corporate policies and procedures, specifically, but not limited to: Bio Shipping Procedures, Warehouse Procedure.
