We are seeking a motivated individual to join our company as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. As part of our team, you oversee and document the receiving of packages, parcels and supplies, store items in the appropriate areas and prepare items for shipping. You must be able to lift up to 35 pounds unaided and be able to bend, crouch and lift items throughout the duration of your shift. Schedule (Subject to change based on business needs): Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., with overtime and occasional Saturdays as required Tasks for the position include, but are not limited to: Engaging with customer service, vendors, drivers and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products in a positive manner Servicing customer pickups - gathering required items to fulfill orders, assisting with the loading of product and documenting order pickup as complete Preparing outgoing packages - affixing shipping labels, posting weight and charges Preparing damaged or defective items for return to vendors Accepting incoming deliveries and routing packages to internal departments Unloading incoming stock from semi-trucks and delivering it to designated production storage area within plant via forklift Loading common carrier with kitchen cabinets for out of state deliveries Tracking inventory and update stock records Submitting required paperwork to Purchasing and Accounting as needed Assembling of base sample fronts Verifying paperwork and quality inspection for color and defects of sample parts such as mini doors, selection center doors and base sample fronts Keeping work area safe by maintaining cleanliness Operating Company vehicle as needed Additional duties as requested and assigned Required Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED Prior warehouse experience Prior Forklift experience Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Ability to work independently as well as within a team
