Shipping Office Manager About the Position We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Data Clerk to support our shipping and receiving operations. This is a hands-on position that combines computer data entry, shipping and receiving paperwork, inventory tracking, customer communication, and general warehouse support. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with computers, and able to accurately keep track of incoming and outgoing materials. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous clerical, shipping, receiving, warehouse office, or manufacturing experience. What You'll Do Accurately enter incoming and outgoing materials into the computer system Receive and document incoming materials, including walk-in and UPS shipments Verify paperwork and ensure materials are properly documented and routed Prepare shipping paperwork, shippers, bills of lading, labels, and other required documents Package materials according to customer and job requirements Verify shipping labels and destinations for accuracy Coordinate with supervisors and the material team to ensure shipments are completed on time Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure UPS shipments are ready for scheduled pickup Communicate professionally with customers regarding incoming and outgoing shipments Send shipment notifications and inventory information to customers as required Maintain accurate inventory records and compare physical inventory to computer records Make inventory adjustments and corrections when necessary Maintain organized shipping office files and paperwork Keep the shipping office clean and organized Complete required paperwork and reports accurately and on time Report damaged materials, equipment concerns, or unsafe conditions to management Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines Assist with other shipping, receiving, clerical, and material-handling duties as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma/GED preferred, but not required 1-2 years of clerical, shipping, receiving, warehouse office, or manufacturing experience preferred Comfortable using computers and entering information accurately Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic math skills Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently while also being part of a team Willingness to learn company procedures and computer systems Physical Requirements This is an active position that combines office and shipping/receiving responsibilities.
