$18.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Shift:
1st Shift Job Summary We are looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This position will support both inbound and outbound material operations, including receiving loads, preparing shipments, operating a stand-up forklift, and using an RF scanner and computer system to track inventory and loads. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, has good attention to detail, and is willing to learn multiple areas of the operation through cross-training . Responsibilities Receive and process inbound materials and shipments. Prepare and process outbound materials. Use an RF scanner to scan and track materials. Use a computer system to check in and process incoming loads. Operate a stand-up forklift to safely move materials. Load, unload, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. Verify materials and shipment information for accuracy. Follow all safety and warehouse procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work with team members to keep materials moving efficiently. Cross-train in other warehouse functions as needed. Qualifications Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Comfortable using a computer and handheld RF scanner. Ability to accurately follow instructions and complete paperwork or electronic documentation. Strong attention to detail. Dependable attendance and work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn additional warehouse responsibilities. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
