A Shipping or Receiving Clerk tracks all incoming and/or outgoing shipments at a company facility and checks that shipment orders are filled correctly. Uses scanning equipment to track inventory. Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.

Description Shift:
8:00 AM•4:00 PM or 9:00 AM•5:00
PM Pay Range:
$16•$20/hr
Benefits:

Summary:
Responsible for proper receipt, preparation, recording and dispatch of incoming and/or outgoing materials. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following . Other duties may be assigned. Prepare and complete records verifying material identity, count, weight, routing, etc Forward records to initiate accounting procedures Must be computer literate, organized and detail oriented Must have experience in materials transfers, barcode labels and ASN Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
