Job Description

Job Summary:
Shipping and Receiving Specialist will verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments involving inventory. Duties include verifying and recording material and arranging for the transportation of products and prepare items for shipment. They will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Examine shipment contents and compare with records. Prepare documents, such as work orders or shipping orders to route materials. Pack, seal, label materials for shipping Record and/or report shipment data, such as weight, charges, damages, or other discrepancies Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution goods. Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be transported/shipped. Route material/products to proper department/company Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Ability to read a tape measure, basic shop math, and/or able to read a blueprint. Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring instruments. Basic written and verbal communication skills Complete Bandit's crane and/or forklift safety training
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend Requires employee to work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury. Frequently lift 50 pounds Occasionally lift 60 pounds
