Job Description

Nesco Resource is seeking a Shipping Associate for our long-term client in Rochester Hills. This is a first-shift position. Shift time is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The starting pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The Shipping Associate will prepare finished products for packaging and shipment to customers.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to use simple math. Windows and Excel knowledge is required. Knowledge of electronic components is preferred. Must be aware of and observe ESD precautions.
SUMMARY:
Receive electronic parts, hardware, materials, supplies, or tools by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Counts and verifies all incoming packages and inspects for any visible damage. Reviews incoming receipts and verifies that the Part Number, Manufacturer Part Number, and Packing Slip all match; that the quantity also matches the Purchase Order and the Receipt Entry Screen. Verifies that parts meet all quality code requirements and enters the Date Code and the Lot Code for tracking, as required per the receipt. Receives material against the Purchase Orders using the MES software. Adheres to the MSL and Shelf Life Labels according to Receiving Procedure.

Places parts/materials/supplies on stocking carts according to the location given by the computer. Notifies other Departments via email when materials or supplies are received for those areas. Investigate any Receiving Discrepancies. Trains and assists other Receiving Clerks.
