Job Description

Job Summary :
Byrne Electrical Specialists is seeking a motivated individual to join the shipping team to help with every day shipping needs.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:
Arrange for the timely and accurate shipment of all customer orders. Process packages for shipping, ensuring order is complete and all necessary paperwork and labeling is attached. Arrange product on skids per customer requirements and prepare for shipment. Prepare necessary paperwork for shipments (examples include Bills of Lading, Customs Paperwork, and Packing Slips.) Contact carriers to schedule outbound shipments. Gather completed production from the lines and bring to Shipping to assemble and ship order. Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability by quickly transitioning between roles in a fast-paced environment. Maintains excellent attendance to support consistent team performance and operational success. Willing to work extended hours as needed to support production demands. Certified and experienced in operating Hi-LO (forklift) equipment safely and efficiently. All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Experience and General Skills Required:
Experience with root cause problem solving Quick learner & independent decision maker Continuous Improvement oriented Basic computer skills Forklift certification Positive attitude with a proactive approach Strong initiative and self-motivation Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively Strong team player with collaborative mindset Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, employees, and leadership Minimum of 1-year experience working in a shipping environment
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED is required
