Shipping and Receiving Clerk - (1st Shift)

Job Summary:

The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for performing a variety of shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision. The Associate will verify the order to match the received materials and prepare the items for proper shipment to both customers and outside services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation of bill of ladings, barcode scanning, and sending Advance Ship Notifications Ability to multi-task and problem solve as needed/required Accurately stage and label product for shipment Operate electric & gas hi-lo safely and efficiently Scan and load product shipping to customer locations Label product as required Receive product from outside suppliers and purchase part suppliers Load and unload shuttles between buildings Occasionally deliver parts to customer in company owned vehicle

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required Previous Shipping & Receiving experience is preferred Experience with Hilo's STRONG Computer Skills - Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems. Willingness to take direction and work independently when needed Must be a team player and have a willingness to help others

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear. Perform repetitive motion of fingers, hands, wrists, shoulders and upper body. The employee is regularly required to walk and reach with hands and arms. On occasion the employee will have to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less). Employee is expected to wear the required personal protective equipment when on the production floor. Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
