POSITION SUMMARY

The H.T. Hackney Co is a leader in the wholesale industry. We are currently hiring a full time Reclamation Assistant to join our team in the Wyoming, MI area. The Reclamation Assistant is a versatile position responsible for supporting reclamation, customer service, product verification, returns, shipping, and other operational needs throughout the department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Check in, sort, organize, and process customer returns. Scan and verify returned products for accuracy. Assist Customer Service with product verification and return questions. Verify cigarette and tobacco returns as required. Work with vendors on reclamation and return product. Assist with UPS shipments and orders to H.T. Hackney retail customers. Select and prepare orders as needed. Maintain accurate paperwork and product records. Keep the Reclamation area clean, organized, and safe. Assist with special projects and other department responsibilities as assigned. Work closely with Customer Service, Inventory Control, Receiving, Warehouse Operations, and other departments as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good attendance and work record. Basic computer and scanning experience preferred. Product knowledge is helpful. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to periodically lift up to 60 pounds. Willingness to learn multiple responsibilities and help wherever needed. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, flexible, and interested in learning several areas of our operations
