Control Assemblies Company is seeking to fill Shipping Clerk role in Gaylord, MN. The Shipping Clerk prepares and prints shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pick orders/materials from stock, storage, or staging area and deliver to production as needed. Prepare product for shipping to customers, box, crate, shrink-wrap, load, and unload trucks. Assembles and fills boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped. Affixes proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping Affix address label and any other special labels required for handling material and schedule carriers to meet customers delivery requirements. Tracks inventory and reports any shortages. Competencies Customer Focus Time Management Trust and Respect Technical Skills Priority Setting Education and/or Experience High School diploma and experience in customer service and computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) Basic knowledge of shipping/receiving or willingness to learn. Physical Demands Extended periods of standing and moving around. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
