In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. With demonstrated performance and leadership capabilities, this role offers the potential for advancement into a lead position. Responsibilities Order Picking & Shipping Support

• Accurately pick customer orders, work orders, and requisitions according to established procedures.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, descriptions, and other order details to ensure accuracy.
• Stage and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring materials are complete and properly organized.
• Assemble, package, and palletize customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare parcels and materials for mailing or freight shipment.
• Mark, label, and identify materials using appropriate company procedures.
• Review completed orders for accuracy prior to shipment.
• Communicate discrepancies, shortages, damaged materials, or other order issues to the appropriate personnel. Inventory & Material Control
• Record materials received, moved, picked, or distributed using the company ERP and inventory systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Weigh and count materials to verify quantities and ensure accuracy.
• Organize materials on racks, shelves, and bins according to established processes.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to material movement and order fulfillment. Receiving & Material Handling
• Assist with unloading inbound shipments and verifying materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Inspect incoming materials for visible damage and report discrepancies.
• Move materials to designated storage or staging areas using appropriate equipment.
• Open containers, crates, and packaging safely and efficiently.
• Ensure materials are stored in an organized manner that supports efficient order fulfillment. Computer Systems & Documentation
• Learn and effectively use company ERP, inventory, shipping, and other computer systems.
• Enter and retrieve information accurately from computer systems.
• Use computer systems to locate inventory, review orders, record transactions, and support order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technology. Equipment Operation & Safety
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all established material-handling procedures.
• Keep warehouse aisles and work areas accessible, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and wear required PPE.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or safety concerns promptly. Housekeeping & Organization
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Keep materials, inventory, tools, and equipment properly organized.
• Remove debris, excess pallets, and packaging materials.
• Maintain work areas in a condition that supports safe and efficient order fulfillment. Teamwork & Leadership Development
• Work cooperatively with shipping, receiving, warehouse, production, and other departments to support customer and company needs.
• Communicate effectively regarding order status, inventory concerns, and material requirements.
• Demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and organization.
• Assist in training or supporting other employees as knowledge and experience develop.
• Take on additional responsibilities as demonstrated performance and experience warrant.
• Demonstrate the potential and willingness to grow into a lead role within the department. Additional Duties
• Assist shipping and receiving personnel as needed.
• Support other warehouse activities during periods of increased workload.

• 2+ years of warehouse, order picking, fulfillment, shipping, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Strong order-picking experience with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to verify quantities, part numbers, and order information.
• Ability to learn and effectively use computer systems, ERP systems, inventory software, and shipping systems.
• Basic computer proficiency required; experience with an ERP or inventory management system preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, customer orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Ability to accurately count, measure, weigh, and record materials.
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack safely; required certifications must be maintained.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
• Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Ability and desire to develop additional skills and responsibilities with the potential for advancement into a lead position.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures. Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to work in a moderate to high noise manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Hearing protection may be required in designated areas.
• Safety glasses are required on the shop floor.
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
