Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment. Your expertise will help maintain seamless warehouse operations, support customer satisfaction, and uphold compliance with shipping regulations. Responsibilities Manage the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments using warehouse management systems and RF scanners Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and verifying orders with precision Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload freight safely and efficiently Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems such as Shipstation and Zoey. Coordinate with carriers and freight providers to schedule pickups and deliveries while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits to ensure accuracy within warehouse distribution operations Support packaging processes for e-commerce and retail store orders, ensuring products are securely prepared for shipment while adhering to quality standards Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles with familiarity in inventory management software and warehouse management systems Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order picking, packing, and data entry tasks Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments accurately Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance procedures is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word for reporting purposes Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and quality control Join us as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist where your dedication will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service. Pay:
$16.50 - $18.50 per hour
