Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastor to serve as a spiritual leader and counselor within our faith-based community. In this vital role, you will provide spiritual guidance, lead worship services, and foster a welcoming environment that nurtures faith, hope, and compassion. Your leadership will inspire individuals and families alike, offering support during life's most meaningful moments and times of crisis. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a profound impact through religious teaching, community engagement, and pastoral care. Responsibilities Deliver inspiring sermons and lead worship services that resonate with diverse congregations. Provide pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance to individuals and families facing life challenges, including terminal illness and bereavement. Facilitate religious education classes, including teaching biblical theology and religious studies to various age groups. Offer crisis intervention and conflict management support during emergencies or personal crises. Support community outreach initiatives, including event planning, mentoring programs, and faith-based activities. Work collaboratively with other clergy members and lay leaders to develop programs that foster spiritual growth and community cohesion. Provide bereavement support by guiding families through grief processes with compassion and understanding. Requirements Proven experience working as a clergyperson or in a similar religious leadership role within nonprofit faith-based organizations. Strong teaching skills in religious studies, biblical theology, and Christian counseling. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and motivate others through public speaking. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and individuals from various backgrounds. Experience in hospice care or terminal illness counseling is highly desirable. Skilled in crisis intervention, conflict management, and crisis management techniques. Knowledge of pastoral theology, religious teaching methods, and spiritual guidance principles. Ability to plan events, mentor others, and manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. From $48,321.68 per year
