ABOUT THE POSITION
This is an active, hands-on Shipping and Receiving position. You will play an important role in keeping inventory accurate, orders moving efficiently, and shipments prepared correctly. You should be comfortable spending most of your shift standing, walking, lifting, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment . This is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy and wants a position with long-term potential.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Receive and inspect incoming shipments Verify received products against purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation Unpack, identify, and properly store incoming inventory Pick products accurately for customer orders Pack and prepare orders for shipment Prepare outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness Use RF scanners to pick, receive, move, and track inventory Update inventory and warehouse records accurately Load and unload trucks using proper equipment and safety procedures Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and order-picking equipment Assist with inventory organization and warehouse operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow company safety procedures and established operating practices Work with team members to meet shipping, receiving, and production deadlines
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
High School Diploma or GED required Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, material handling, or order fulfillment experience preferred 6 months of related experience preferred RF scanner experience is a plus Experience with order picking and packing preferred Basic math and measurement skills Ability to read and follow written instructions Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good attendance and dependable work history Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities No direct shipping experience? We will consider candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is an active warehouse position.
Candidates should be comfortable:
Standing and walking throughout the shift Performing repetitive warehouse and shipping tasks Lifting and moving materials as required Loading and unloading shipments Working safely around warehouse equipment
OVERTIME & ATTENDANCE
This position relies on weekly overtime , and the amount of required overtime may vary from week to week. Candidates should have reliable attendance and be willing to work overtime when business needs require it.
