Part-Time Sample & Shipping Clerk Company:

Fenton, MO Schedule:
Part-Time (Approximately 4-6 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Hours may vary based on workload.) About the Position Carr Textile is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Sample & Shipping Clerk to join our team. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who enjoys variety, can multitask, and takes pride in producing quality work. You will assist with sample preparation, shipping, inventory of samples, quality testing, and general office/lab support. Responsibilities Prepare and fulfill fabric sample card requests Create custom fabric samples for customers Assemble fabric sample cards Package and ship orders using USPS, FedEx, and UPS Perform basic fabric quality testing Prepare materials for trade shows Enter trade show leads into our computer system Assist with sample inventory and organization Perform light janitorial and housekeeping duties Cross-train in our fabric testing laboratory Help with additional projects as needed Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and stay organized Basic computer and data entry skills Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Reliable attendance and a positive attitude Self-motivated and able to work independently Previous warehouse, shipping, assembly, or clerical experience is a plus but not required What We Offer Flexible part-time schedule Friendly, family-owned work environment Variety of work throughout the day On-the-job training Opportunity to learn multiple aspects of our business About Carr Textile Founded in 1973, Carr Textile is a leading importer, converter, distributor, and wholesaler of industrial and apparel fabrics. Headquartered in Fenton, Missouri, Carr Textile operates a 160,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility in Sikeston, Missouri, along with multiple warehouse locations stocking more than six million yards of fabric. Our capabilities include fabric converting, re-rolling, slitting, die cutting, sewing, plastic extrusion, embroidery backing, and custom finishing services.
