Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Shipping Clerk is to perform functions related to picking, kitting, and preparing customer orders for shipping. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Essential Functions Pick customer orders Stage picked product for large orders, keeping product well organized while remaining items move through manufacturing Assist in kitting and other value-added functions Pack completed orders, label cartons as needed Generate packing slips and other shipping documents Palletize cartons, band and wrap pallets Assist in cycle counting and other inventory functions, as needed Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations Other duties as assigned Required Competencies and Expectations Proficient computer, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Highly motivated and work well in a fast pace, team-oriented environment Detail oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction Able to frequently lift or move 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds, assisted Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop for extended period of time Possess fine motor skills and tactile ability to handle small objects Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience Prior relevant work experience is highly preferred FirstSpear, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
