8:30am-5:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Shipper/Fulfillment Associate position available at a company in Hazelwood, MO. This is a 1st shift role with the opportunity for hire. Shipper/Fulfillment Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy against work orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
- Package printed materials and products according to customer specifications and carrier requirements.
- Operate shipping software and generate shipping labels for common parcel and freight carriers.
- Palletize, wrap, and stage shipments for carrier pickup.
- Assist with kitting, assembly, and fulfillment projects for promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet customer and company standards.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with production and customer service teams to meet customer deadlines.
- Support special projects and other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Shipper/Fulfillment Associate Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents.
- Basic computer skills and experience with shipping software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a printing, packaging, or fulfillment environment.
- Knowledge of shipping processes and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
