About the Position Cush Suspensions is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our manufacturing team in Nixa, Missouri. This position is responsible for preparing suspension components and finished products for shipment, completing shipping documentation, coordinating freight pickups, and ensuring every order is accurate and properly packaged. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to keep shipments moving accurately and on schedule. Responsibilities Review sales orders, pick lists, and shipping instructions. Verify part numbers, quantities, destinations, and requested shipping dates. Pull, count, inspect, stage, package, and secure products for shipment. Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, pallet counts, freight dimensions, and other shipping documents. Enter and verify shipment information in the company ERP system and carrier portals. Coordinate parcel, less-than-truckload, and truckload pickups with approved carriers. Load outgoing freight and unload incoming materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other equipment. Inspect outgoing shipments for visible damage, packaging quality, and accuracy. Report shortages, damaged materials, shipping errors, and carrier issues promptly. Maintain an organized shipping area and clearly identified staging locations. Assist with receiving, cycle counts, inventory control, and other warehouse duties as needed. Follow all company safety, quality, equipment, and housekeeping requirements. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred. Forklift experience or certification preferred. Ability to complete company-required forklift training before operating equipment independently. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn ERP, inventory, and carrier shipping systems. Ability to read work orders, packing lists, shipping labels, and basic freight documentation. Basic math skills with strong attention to detail. Dependable attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, office staff, and freight carriers. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and handle products and packaging throughout the shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to use team lifting or material-handling equipment when appropriate. Ability to work around moving equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
