Job Description

Accountability:
Responsible for accurately filling and processing customer orders as well as helping to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient area to work within, along with helping to reach AccurateOn Time Daily Shipping performance as assigned by management.
Job Summary:
Work directly with all warehouse team members in a professional manner, at all times. Duties and Responsibilities Work as a team within the department to fill orders including LTL, FedEx and UPS parcel shipments in a timely manner. Scan and count all parts correctly and accurately before submitting orders and boxing - for Parcel shipments Inform picker/counter of missed counts. Process the necessary paperwork using shipping software. Advise Supervisor when an incorrect bin location is listed so it can be updated/changed as well as notifying the Inventory Control Mgr. with any count discrepancies. Advise customer service of any orders that will not ship by promise date (communicate to Supervisor) Maintain a clean and organized work area Watch for safety issues and advise Supervisor Cross train in all shipping functions. Communicate with Customer Service via Email/Phone on "ship today" orders and print them for the pickers. Other tasks and projects as assigned by
Manager/Supervisor Interaction:
The shipping clerk is expected to interact with owners, managers, supervisors and other ATRO associates as well as vendor representatives and truck drivers.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Computer skills, efficient work habits, ability to count efficiently, and promote a team environment. NCRC+ preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand continuously and work a 10 hour shift and overtime as needed. Must be able to squat/bend/kneel, push and pull up to 50 pounds, climb/ reach/overhead, operate equipment (i.e., forklift, order picker, scissor lift.).
