Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Receiving Clerk for a Contract to Hire with a client in St louis, MO. You must have experience in receiving, inventory management, and material handling, with the ability to verify shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and safely operate warehouse equipment.

Rate Range:
$18/hour to $21/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Receiving Clerk Job Responsibilities include:
Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness. Record received materials in inventory management systems, apply inventory labels, and maintain accurate stock records and documentation. Organize, store, and distribute materials to designated warehouse locations while ensuring proper inventory control and stock rotation. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely to load, unload, and transport inventory throughout the facility. Investigate and report shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory variances while coordinating resolutions with vendors and internal departments. Maintain organized receiving records, support cycle counts and physical inventories, and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional warehouse, logistics, or inventory management training is a plus. 1-2 years of experience in receiving warehousing, inventory control, or materials management. Experience verifying shipments, maintaining inventory records, processing receiving documentation, and utilizing inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (forklift experience preferred), read shipping and purchasing documents, and maintain accuracy while managing inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
