Position Summary:

The Shipping, Receiving & Forklift Operator is responsible for the accurate handling of incoming and outgoing materials. This role ensures all shipments are received, verified, stored, picked, and loaded efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping:

Stage, and prepare orders for shipment based on work orders and schedules Load trucks and secure materials properly, including large or fragile items Build, wrap, and label skids/pallets for shipment Verify order accuracy prior to shipment and complete required documentation Coordinate with production and logistics teams to meet daily shipping targets

Receiving:

Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders Inspect materials for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns and report issues promptly Accurately record and label received goods in inventory systems Unload trucks safely using forklifts or other material handling equipment Store materials in designated locations to maintain organization and accessibility General /

Forklift Duties:

Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment Move materials between departments as required Maintain clean, organized shipping and receiving areas Follow all health and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE Support inventory counts and general warehouse organization

Qualifications:

Valid forklift certification Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environment = Ability to safely handle heavy materials (50 lbs+; team lifting for larger items) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems
