Job description: Cascades is seeking a hands-on, people-first Plant Manager with a strong background in manufacturing operations and a passion for developing leaders, strengthening morale, and driving performance on the plant floor. PLANT MANAGER
$130k + profit sharing target
RESPONSIBILITIES
Health & Safety Champion a safety-first culture with visible leadership and accountability at all levels Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented Business Development & Operational Strategy Translate business objectives into actionable plant-level execution plans Monitor and manage labor, overtime, and operational costs Lead continuous improvement and optimization initiatives Own capital planning and operational reporting to drive decision-making People Management Development of an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes safety, quality, continuous improvement, retention, employee development and high performance. Create a workplace culture that is consistent with the organization's vision and values. Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for differing ideas and concepts. Display exemplary leadership to support a team of direct reports comprised of Supervisory and Management staff, and all other office and plant personnel Conduct formal and informal performance feedback sessions
General Plant Administration & Analysis Functions:
Ensure that sufficient employee time, supervisor support, and funds are budgeted for safety equipment, tools and training. Champion cost control initiatives, including but not limited to Overtime, direct labor, fixed and variable costs Manage Capital expenditures Maintain and analyze operational reports to identify gaps/ operational needs Ability to perform machining functions would be an asset
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years leading in a manufacturing or production environment Strong track record of developing supervisors (not just managing them) Comfortable being highly visible and hands-on on the plant floor Direct experience leading supervisors on a plant floor (not warehouse or sales teams) Strong operational background in production, maintenance, or industrial processes

$130,000.00 per year
