187350 Position Summary Perform onsite Material care, custody and control functions in support of construction field activities. Carry out day to day activities of the warehouse department, which can include shipping and receiving or products and materials, issuing tools, documentation and inventory control Experience Level Intermediate Primary Responsibilities and Duties Selects and prepares daily shipments which may includes pulling orders, packaging, and completing freight/invoice paperwork for freight carriers Palletizes and wraps skids and delivers completed orders and packages to designated shipping area and/or deliver to disciplines Assists in loading trucks as necessary and unloads received items from trailers Examines and inspects items for damage and defects; identifies incorrect/short shipped items Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items, using identification labels and stickers Perform onsite Warehouse inventories, maintenance and restocking, fill backorders and product bins May assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and document material shorts Ensure all shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and on time May operate forklift and other equipment - stand-up lift, sit-down lift, propane, scissor, etc Qualifications May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position. Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision. Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
