Job Description

The Ernest workplace in Asheville, NC is committed to providing the backbone of eCommerce support for a wide range of professionals. We offer on demand, full service, or flexible fulfillment assistance tailored to suit the individual needs of our customers. Our team members work together to receive, maintain, report on, package, and ship out physical inventory from our warehouse. Order fulfillment is a fast paced and detail-oriented work environment, with both physical and technological requirements. The ideal candidate must be able to complete all requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to - Receiving merchandise on behalf of customers, while verifying the quantity and quality of goods Responding to customer inquiries regarding their inventory or shipments, including providing reports as requested Maintaining positive relationships with customers and external partners, including communication regarding questions related to tasks at hand Assembling items into kits or provide as needed support for bulk tasks Fulfilling and shipping orders for physical inventory placed on a variety of systems - including individual customers' websites and our internal client management software. The ability to adapt to and pick up new software systems is a big plus for this position Pricing "best way" shipping methods, printing labels and packaging items being sent via UPS, FedEx, USPS, and/or freight in a way that ensures their safe delivery Assist supervisor in maintaining inventory management supplies, including boxes, labels, and other materials used from day to day Flexibility in and willingness to embrace and prioritize different tasks from day to day or week to week Performing other related duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
Available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 hours daily between the hours of 7 am - 6 pm at our Asheville, NC location The ability to adapt to and pick up new software systems is a must for this position This is a very detailed position. A detail oriented person is a must. This position requires up to six hours daily of standing, walking, bending, and lifting/transporting upwards of 35 pounds above the waist Proficiency in computer navigation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook Previous warehouse and fulfillment experience is preferred but not required Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, USPS, and/or freight shipping is a plus Possess strong communication skills with the ability to work as a member of a team, plus the initiative to complete tasks individually Our core values are Integrity, Initiative, Customer Focus, Community Minded.
