Graham, NC Occasional Saturday work may be required based on scheduling needs, but is infrequent Temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network , you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision, and medical insurance as well as 401(k), direct deposit, and the referral bonus program Job Description A well-established distribution operation in Graham, NC is seeking a Returns Processor to accurately and efficiently process customer and product returns. This position combines hands-on warehouse duties with computer-based data entry, scanning, labeling, and inventory processing. The Returns Processor will receive and inspect returned merchandise, document return information, update inventory records, and determine the appropriate disposition of returned products. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable using computers and handheld scanners, and able to work independently in a fast-paced distribution environment. The client's position specifically emphasizes accurate and timely processing of returns. Responsibilities Receive, open, and process returned merchandise Review accompanying paperwork and accurately record return information Enter return information into the warehouse management system Print and apply appropriate labels Use handheld scanners to identify products and capture SKU information Scan and document all returned merchandise Update electronic files and close out completed return orders Sort returned products based on their appropriate disposition, including restocking, sale, or disposal Repackage merchandise designated for restocking Move and place restocked merchandise into designated inventory locations Maintain accurate documentation throughout the returns process Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized work area Follow all established safety procedures and wear required PPE Immediately report unsafe conditions or concerns to a supervisor Perform additional duties as assigned by management These responsibilities are based on the client's returns workflow, including documentation, WMS entry, scanning, sorting, restocking, and general safety requirements. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read and write English Basic computer skills required Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems is helpful Strong communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull as required Ability to safely lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Comfortable performing repetitive scanning, computer, and material-handling tasks Willingness to work occasional overtime or Saturdays when required Computer skills, communication, organization, WMS knowledge, English literacy, attention to detail, independent work, good attendance, and schedule flexibility are important qualifications.
